Above — The young Gwyn explores the autumn garden.

Gwynevyr is the newest addition to our family of standard poodles, a cream standard with a great pedigree and an even better disposition. She came to us at 8 weeks of age from Anne Bell's Sanvar Poodles in Ontario, October 25, 2006.

Even after her four-and-a-half hour flight, Gwyn arrived tail up and ready to play. She immediately made herself at home in her new surroundings, tearing through the yard with Danté and Bé, rubbing noses with our three cats, and falling in love with her new family.

Gwyn is a fun-loving, active, and vocal dog. She has an amazing level of energy, and will play in the yard or fetch a ball for hours on end. (One of her favorite tricks is to run on the freshly-mown lawn, leading us to describe her as a rare cream-and-green standard poodle.)

All grown up but still seeming like a puppy sometimes, Gwyn loves getting hugs and bestowing doggie kisses (often moreso than the person on the receiving end). Nothing makes her happier than human contact, even when she has trouble remembering that she's no longer small enough to snuggle in someone's lap.
